High School

The Cathedral Community School (CCMS) high school curriculum comprises the last 3  years of the secondary program- 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. The program offers a broad range of course offerings, which enable students to pursue further education in the Dominican Republic, United States, Canada and other institutions around the world. Currently our high school is expanding one grade level per year from 10th grade. Our goal is that our graduates will be accepted at a variety of selective colleges and universities around the world.
Our high school and the programs we offer are driven by our mission statement and our school vision statement to prepare students to be international citizens as  life-long and digitally literate learners.
Our mission statement is celebrated in many ways within our high school. We offer a broad range of secondary school options enhanced with an international perspective. Our goal is to provide students with the option to take Advanced Placement (AP) and/or SAT exams in any given subject area. CCMS offers options for higher education access to colleges and universities worldwide. Our program provides students a rich dual language English Spanish curriculum with electives in both Mandarin and French to prepare them for further study and life beyond our walls.
The Cathedral Community School (CCMS) offers a truly world-class learning experience from grades 10-12. The commitment of our faculty can be seen in their support of an extracurricular program that aims to provide a multiplicity of opportunities for students beyond the classroom: athletics where our student participants enjoy our wonderful facilities as well as the possibility of high level competition with other schools; in activities such as Model United Nations; Eagles Club, in charity and service ventures such as The Color of Hope where our students’ contribution to the community and the environment has been extraordinary.
All of us here at the high school believe we offer the benefits of an exceptional learning environment where every student counts. Please, if you have any questions about the high school do not hesitate to contact us.
